Best Peptide Companies in 2026: A Verifiable Scorecard (Not a Sponsored List)

Seven verifiable criteria for ranking research peptide suppliers — COA transparency, chromatograms, LC-MS identity, endotoxin, U.S. synthesis and off-spec policy.

By PX1 Research Team · August 4, 2026

How this comparison was built

There is no regulator ranking research peptide suppliers, so this comparison uses only checks a buyer can verify independently: whether lot-specific COAs are published, whether chromatograms accompany purity claims, whether mass-spec identity is included, whether endotoxin and sterility are tested, where synthesis happens, and whether the company states research-use-only compliance.

The scorecard criteria

CriterionWhat passing looks like
Lot-specific COARetrievable per lot, with lot number and test date
HPLC chromatogramFull trace published, not just a percentage
LC-MS identityObserved mass vs theoretical mass shown
Endotoxin / sterilityLAL or rFC result reported per lot
U.S. synthesisNamed domestic facility, not "USA shipped"
RUO complianceExplicit research-use-only labeling, no dosing advice
Off-spec policyWritten replacement or refund terms

Where most suppliers fail

The single most common failure is publishing a purity percentage with no chromatogram. The second is "USA" language that describes the warehouse, not the synthesis. The third is silence on endotoxin — an omission that matters specifically for reconstituted research work.

How PX1 Research scores

PX1 tests every lot across six layers (HPLC purity, LC-MS identity, residual solvents, Karl Fischer moisture, sterility, endotoxin), publishes per-lot documentation at /purity-reports and /endotoxin-reports, synthesizes and vials in U.S. GMP-compliant facilities described at /manufacturing-process, and replaces any vial that fails to meet spec.

How to run this yourself on any vendor

Send one email: "Can you send the COA for the exact lot I would receive, including the HPLC chromatogram and LC-MS spectrum, and confirm where the material was synthesized?" Suppliers that answer completely within a business day are the shortlist. Everyone else is a reseller.
