Arginate salt vs acetate salt
The counter-ion changes stability, not the peptide sequence. Arginate salt shows improved stability in solution and is generally preferred for oral and extended-storage research; acetate salt is the traditional lyophilized injectable research form.
- Acetate — standard lyophilized research vial, stable dry at -20°C
- Arginate — improved aqueous and gastric stability profile
- Identical 15-amino-acid sequence in both salt forms
