Subcutaneous
The dominant route in the literature for peptide research: small volumes, slower absorption, and the route most reported protocols specify.
Intramuscular
Used where faster absorption or larger volume is required. Less common in peptide-model literature.
Volume limits
Subcutaneous volumes in published models are typically under 1 mL per site, which is why concentration choice at reconstitution matters.
