Analytical terms
HPLC — reversed-phase chromatography used to quantify purity. LC-MS — liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, used for identity. MALDI-TOF — alternate mass-identity method. Karl Fischer — moisture titration. EU/mg — endotoxin units per milligram.
Formulation terms
Lyophilized — freeze-dried. Reconstitution — dissolving lyophilized material in diluent. Bacteriostatic water — sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol. Aliquot — a divided portion stored separately.
Pharmacology terms
Agonist — binds and activates a receptor. Analog — a structurally modified version of a parent molecule. Half-life — time for concentration to fall by half. Secretagogue — a compound that triggers release of another substance.

Every PX1 lot ships with HPLC purity, LC-MS identity, residual solvent, moisture (Karl Fischer), sterility and endotoxin data.
