Peptide Storage Guide: Lyophilized vs Reconstituted
Lyophilized
Sealed vials are stable at ambient for shipping and 18–24 months cool, dry and dark. −20 °C is preferred long-term. Desiccated storage prevents hydration-driven degradation.
Reconstituted
2–8 °C, protected from light, with a 28-day in-use window when bacteriostatic water is used. Aliquot before freezing; repeated freeze-thaw cycles cause aggregation and purity loss.
Transport
Ambient transit is correct for sealed lyophilized material. Reconstituted vials should not be shipped.
